HubSpot CRM integration
in progress

The latest release of our HubSpot integration brings customer sync functionality. You can use this to understand which organizations in your community are also customers.

We'll import any matching customer organizations using a historical import so you get the full picture as well as keeping track of new customers from the community to keep everything up to date.

The first release of our HubSpot integration (the first of many to come), is now available for users on our Premium and Enterprise plans. You can see more information about this in our Changelog entry: https://ideas.orbit.love/changelog/create-contacts-leads-in-hubspot-and-salesforce

I would like to be able to sync contacts between both (maybe thats obvious) but I would also like a way to choose if I sync a contact, so we can differentiate between members in our open source community versus those in our SaaS product.
maybe this flow is: if the contact is not already in Orbit, then it goes into a suggested contact/members list (in settings there is already a "merge members", there could also be an "additional member" list or something)
I would like to see the emails that are tracked in in the member profile (I think this is the same as Tim Enwall was saying)

it is possibly nice, but I want to be able to create a dynamic ambassador list in hubspot. My ambassadors need to do x number of activities a year to maintain their status. I want to be able to be alerted when an ambassador is not on track to hit this number and also be able to drop them on the list from hubspot or orbit.

From Orbit, I'd want to sync:
- social profile info
- activities spotted
From HubSpot (or any other CRM) I'd want to sync:
- sign-up as "an activity"
- email(s), phone calls, tickets, deals, etc... as "an activity"
Without connectivity to the CRM, it's much harder to see how Orbit can be vastly useful because it omits a significant part of the picture of who's active, who's not, who's drifting away, etc...
I could see there being some type of color or numerical differentiators for the different types of activity - like "external activity" v. "company-led" activity.

Information I'd like to sync from Orbit:
* Select (usually high-level) activities
* Links to social media profiles
* Custom notes
Sync from HubSpot:
* Company
* LinkedIn URL
* Location
* Status of lead (MGL, MQL, SQL, customer, etc.)

This would be useful to sync User Profiles in Orbit : Company, LinkedIn URL, as well as other user properties (Company size, Country, etc.).
