Our org lives and breathes SF so no way to get around that but of course it can't do what Orbit does so to compromise and integration would be pretty much mandatory to really integrate it into the organization

This would massively increase the use of Orbit for our org. We'd be much more invested in stewarding and tagging users if we knew that the info would make its way to the tool used by the sales

SF > Orbit:
- Create a new Orbit User per SF Contact
- For existing Orbit Users -> In Salesforce we're storing opportunity information and the calls/notes the Account Executives make, therefore, it would be nice to see that information in the Orbit Activity feed for each user.
Orbit > SF:
- Create new SF Leads per Orbit User (or least have the choice between Leads and Contacts)
- For existing SF Leads & Contacts: Orbit has all our Slack, GitHub, Twitter, Mailchimp, Typeform, and Meetup users and activities. It would be ideal to have those activities sent in the Task feed on SF.

This is huge. If it's a 2-way sync I recommend:
In Orbit: "This user also exists in Salesforce." Maybe their status in the pipeline? Doesn't need to be much imo. Maybe adding this to filters or providing some way to search users who are also in Salesforce.
In Salesforce: "This user also exists in Orbit." Surface number of activities, date of first, maybe Orbit Level/Love/Reach? I think these last three are a bit abstract unless sales teams totally get the Orbit model.
